Method first
Pressure that suits concrete can damage render or sandstone. We look at the material and its condition first, then choose the method, the pressure and any follow-up treatment.
Rendered and painted walls are cleaned with low pressure and a solution suited to the coating, so the finish isn’t stripped or marked.
Brick and mortar joints are soft washed. Pressure stays low to protect the mortar and the face of the brick.
Cladding, fascia and eaves are washed gently, from the ground or with safe access where it’s needed.
Concrete, driveways, paths and stairs are pressure cleaned, with the pressure and method adjusted to the surface.
Pavers are cleaned with adjusted pressure. Joints can be re-sanded and the surface sealed once it’s dry.
We check the stone type and its condition first, then recommend a cleaning method, treatment or sealer that suits it.
Exterior glass, frames and pool fencing are cleaned with water-fed pure-water systems or a traditional squeegee.
The method depends on the roofing material, its condition and safe access. It may be soft washing, pressure where appropriate, and biocide.
Soft washing uses low pressure and a cleaning solution suited to the surface, instead of high-pressure water. It’s used on render, brick, cladding, painted surfaces, fascia, eaves and natural stone, where high pressure could cause damage.
